Dalyan
Set in the charming riverside town of Dalyan – a paradise where nature and history embrace each other – our Villa is only 10 minutes leisurely stroll from the town centre, with its pretty cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and boutiques that stay open until midnight. All at a riverside setting with pleasure boats and overlooked by the famous 4th century Rock Tombs hewn out of solid rock. The famous Turtle Beach is a leisurely 30 minutes gently boat trip along the wonderful Dalyan River or alternatively a 20 minute scenic bus trip through the wonderful mountains.

Our Villa
Our Luxury Villa is beautifully finished and built to very high standards. It reflects our families need for all the comforts of a home from home holiday, plus all the benefits of a wonderful location and fabulous weather. Our Luxury Villa has four bedrooms - two with ensuite wetrooms and three with private balconies overlooking mountain scenery. The villa will sleep 8 persons plus two on a sofa bed. The lovely air conditioned lounge has a built in fireplace, dining area and is complete with Digital TV and a DVD player, as wll as a Playstation 2 and board games to keep the kids occupied whilst the adults sit on the terrace and watch the sun set behind the mountains. The fully fitted modern kitchen is complete with full size gas cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is a family bathrooms and a ground floor toilet, plus two of the bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms. The kitchen and lounge both lead on to a covered fully tiled extensive terrace with a built in barbeque. In the landscaped private garden there is a fabulous 60m2 private swimming pool surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace with shower facilities - all illuminated at night.!Sunlounges and parasols are provided plus, new for 2010, we have had a traditional Turkish pagoda built in the garden (wooden seating area) which is perfect for getting some shade during the day Dalyan is a great centre for a whole variety our tours, excursions and activities to suit almost every taste. Here are just some of those available to choose from:- • 12 Island boat trip • Many other Dalyan river boat trips including crab fishing • The ancient ruins and rock tombs of Kaunos • Mud baths and thermal springs • Local village tours with swimming in the mountain streams • Turtle beach and early morning turtle viewing. • Trip to the Saklikent Gorge. • Turkish baths with massage. • Trekking, walking, mountain biking, white water rafting. • Paragliding from Oludeniz. • Snortling and scuba diving. • Microlight flying. • Various two day trips to famous sites including Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia The nearest airport is Dalyan (only 30 minutes away ) and we even collect you from the airport to meet our local representative. There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Paul says: "I suspect a lot of thought went into the position of this excellent villa, it's simply ideal. Located on the edge of an executive estate at the end of a quiet lane and, yet, within a 10 minute leisurely stroll of the centre of Dalyan. There are no other buildings to the front or to either side of the villa, (although there is another villa being completed at the foot of the garden) so there are great views of the surrounding mountains. It's swimming pool and sun terrace are, simply, superb! Don and Mary should be congratulated, too, for their choice of pool. Two tiered in depth and very generous in size, the others we saw were either postage stamps or a one, deep level, "plunge pool" type, wholly inappropriate for non-swimmers and/or young children alike. South facing, not one minute of sun is lost until the sun sets behind the mountains around 7pm. An outside shower is next to the pool and an outside electrical point is located on the veranda to facilitate any music system you may have brought with you. There are four sunbed loungers provided and two parasols. The villa itself is exactly as described, sleeping six comfortably in three, generous sized bedrooms. Two doubles and one twin, all three have air-con units. The bathroom has a toilet, hand basin and shower (no bath). Downstairs is an open-plan sitting room, dining space and fully-fitted kitchen. There are also some table and chairs outside. One air con unit more than adequately covers the open plan space. There is also a downstairs toilet. Dalyan itself will not disappoint. During the day, it's functional with a good selection of supermarkets, shops, banks and restaurants but it's at night when this small town literally "lights up" and comes alive. Dalyan is perfectly suitable for couples and/or young families, a stag night venue this is not and long may that continue! The locals are very polite and friendly, the tourists happy to wander in this very safe environment. Situated on the Dalyan river, the best way to get about is by boat from the Marina. Turtle beach is an absolute must-see and is about 20 minutes down river. Look out for the Co-op Public Boat sign at the town end of the Marina. A hire car is not necessary in Dalyan. Dalyan must be one of Turkey's best kept secrets so, try and keep it to yourselves, eh? "
