Dalyan
Since 1986, Dalyan and has been a national park area and wildlife sanctuary. Because of this, the small town on the South West coast of the Mediterranean has kept its Turkish charm and appeal, and many people return year after year. Dalyan is an area of stunning natural beauty, with beautiful beaches, river, lakes, mountains and pine forests. This wonderful un-spoilt corner of Turkey is the perfect place to enjoy the relaxing and exotic culture of Turkey. Dalyan and its people are so incredibly friendly, you will probably never want to leave.
The town remains relatively undiscovered and unspoilt, thus retaining the friendliness and local colour sought by many. However, there is a large number of bars and restaurants to choose from in and around the town - sufficient to cater for everyones taste. Being smaller, Dalyan retains much of its original charm and has a village community feel, and during the evenings the main part of the village centre is closed to motorised traffic for pedestrian safety.
